Ruby Chalice Clarkia - long blooming, drought tolerant and exuberant, quickly reaches x displaying a profusion of cherry centered lavender-pink blooms beginning in May and lasting till midsummer and even Fall (with some water).
Cultivation requirements: Likes moist and slightly acidic soils. Having organic matter in the soil is also a big plus. Full to filtered sun is best. Pruning isn’t really necessary, but it can handle cuttings when the plant is more or less dormant, which is conviently happening around the holidays… haha. I wouldn’t recommend moving mature or older plants, but medium sized to younger ones do fine with transplanting.
