Crayon art. I made this piece using 2 techniques. One was the traditional hair dryer to melt the crayons around the edge of star and then I used a hot glue gun to melt the crayons to create the splatter effect on the inside of the star! I think it turned out amazing!

Crayon Heart Wall Art - just arrange in a heart and melt crayons with a blow dryer (there will be lots of splatter)... add a picture in the middle to use it as a frame!

This is actually easier than it looks. Glue crayons to a piece of cardboard or to the a canvas. Then get a blow dryer, tunr it on, and hold at an angle. The crayon will start to melt and drip in the direction of the hot air. Put cardboard behind the art piece, the crayon will splatter. You can also do this by placing the art outside if it is over 100 degrees.

I tried it. Crayon art!! And I learned that if you want it to splatter, put the hairdryer angled right next to the tip of the crayon.
