I passed a butt load of notes back in the day!

Yes, the original text! And the teacher would threaten to read it to the entire class! You didn't know fear until a teacher caught you passing a note and took it!

In the 90's before everyone had a cell phone, EVERYONE had a pager! Mine was purple...phone #s would show up then you would call them back...even better they would send a message made with #'s and you would have to turn it upside down to read!! LOL "my pager is blowing up!"

When we had pagers (beepers) instead of cell phones. I remember paging Chris ALL the time in high school!

Back in the 40's and 50's American ladies took so much pride in their appearance they went through this every week. God bless them.

Beauty parlor but I remember when I was really little these still being around in the salon my mom went to.

Remember pretending to smoke with candy cigarettes ? Yes they actually sold candy cigarettes once upon a time. They had red tips to look like the lit end of a cigarette , and you could blow out a few puffs of "smoke" ( confectioners sugar).

Coffee percolator. My parents had this. I use to like to watch the coffee percolate in the glass top. Smelled so good.

Percolator Coffee Pot--still the most reliable coffeemaker. I can close my eyes and still smell my mom fixing coffee every morning for my dad.
