Scarabs, from the dung beetle species worshipped by the ancient Egyptians. For reasons that are not clear(although no doubt connected to the religious significance of the Egyptian god Khepri),amulets in the form of scarab beetles had become enormously popular in Ancient Egypt. I am particularly interested in these beetles as they were extremely important during the ancient Egyptian times their shape and form is also very interesting to me and i would love to study them more for my design.
