Archangel Zadkiel (“ZAD-kee-el”). Also Zadakiel, Zedekiel, Zedekul, TZadkiel: “Righteousness of God.” He’s the angel of mercy, memory and forgiveness, in Jewish, Kabbalistic and Christian tradition. In the Torah and the Bible, he is the angel who prevents Abraham from sacrificing his son Isaac. Zadkiel remembers everything, including the origins of the Universe, and can help you remember anything, including your Divine origin.

Christian de Chergé: a Story of Forgiveness - by Johann Christoph Arnold. As Europe reels from the events unfolding in France, there could hardly be a more timely and hopeful story than that of Christian de Chergé. He and his fellow monks living in Algeria were murdered at the hands of radical Muslims. Amazingly, de Chergé had written a letter forgiving his persecutors in advance. http://www.plough.com/en/articles/2011/february/christian-de-cherg%C3%A9-a-story-of-forgiveness #martyrs

Lent and the giving to Jesus our wounded places... being unloved... be present for my sorrow, accept my sorrow. I am not my sorrow. May I forgive myself for not meeting my loved one's needs. May I forgive myself for mistakes made and things left undone. May I be open with others and myself about my experiences with loss. May I be open to recieve the welcome of others into emotional and intimate places. May I learn from and transform sorrow...

Protestant Christianity-- the relationship between Law and Gospel—God's Law and the Gospel of Jesus Christ—is a major topic in Lutheran and Reformed theology. In these traditions, the distinction between the doctrines of Law, which demands obedience to God's ethical will, and Gospel, which promises the forgiveness of sins in light of the person and work of Jesus Christ, is critical. It is used as a hermeneutical principle of biblical interpretation and a guiding principle in homiletics

Our Father Prayer ::: Our Father, Who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy Kingdom come; Thy Will be done On earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our tresspasses As we forgive those who trespass against us; And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. Amen.

We on our part confess that there is much that is Christian and good under the papacy; indeed everything that is Christian and good is to be found there and has come to us from this source. For instance we confess that in the papal church there are the true holy Scriptures, true baptism, the true sacrament of the altar, the true keys to the forgiveness of sins, the true office of the ministry, the true catechism in the form of the Lord's Prayer, [232] the Ten Commandments, and the articles…
