Athens, 1907. Ben T. Epps with his 1st airplane, built largely from bicycle parts. The building behind him, to the right of the "Garage," still stands in downtown Athens and is one of the most exciting spots to watch the annual Twilight Criterium bike race. This is Washington St, looking West toward the intersection with Lumpkin St.
