Explore Pink Cockatoo, Confused, and more!

Sometimes called the Pink Cockatoo, the Major Mitchell's Cockatoo fiery crest is something to behold, with its alternating stripes of crimson and yellow. Named after that famous Scottish explorer of Australia, the Major Mitchell's Cockatoo is found in Australia's drier parts. Not to be confused with the much more common Galah, the Major Mitchell is paler overall, and doesn't have that grey back and wing.
