For the Love of First Grade: October 2012

All About Spiders!

Spiders are creepy, yet awesome. I think a project all about spiders would be very interesting and engaging. Maybe during phase 2 kids could go to the zoo or a spider place and observe, discover different types of spiders.

Oct~We have a pumpkin Chart. I would put it on a magnetic board and have multiple shapes for each face feature. Laminate the sentences to write and erase. We would first do this activity as a class. Then have it set up for kids to do on their own.
