Patty PlayPal doll was made between 1959-1962. My sister and I both had one. I remember she wore a size 3T in clothes, so you could buy real clothes to dress her in. Mine looked just like this one, with the long reddish straight hair, and she wore black patent shoes. She stood about 3 ft tall.

Advertised as "The Doll You Love to Dress", Tammy was portrayed as a young American teenager, more "girl next door" than the cosmopolitan image of Mattel's Barbie, or American Character's Tressy.on the town.  Had one of these but I still preferred playing with the Barbie doll!

Loved my dolly.  We had an entire upstairs bedroom for a playroom.  Had tiny school, kitchen, bedroom, everything set up in that room.  Remember the trunks of doll clothesl and small ironing board and iron.  Much more fun then!

Tiny Tears, my favorite doll, my Mom made extra clothes for her. They came in a small version (my best friend had that one) and a larger version which is the one I had.
