This contemporary Georgian house exhibits the gambrel roof form, which can also be found in colonial originals. This roof is not to be confused with belonging to Dutch colonial style, which preceded Georgian.
We have the exterior painted already with Sherwin Williams Dorian Gray for the siding and Gauntlet Gray for the brick. We had picked Black Fox for the front door and garage door but now that the house is painted it seems too dark? Please help should we do the front door with a walnut stain and the garage door match the siding which is a Dorian Gray? Or should we do Black Fox and keep it dark?
