Blood-Diamonds_0101. Acclaimed South African theatre director, Brett Bailey, was commissioned to create a work for the 2009 National Arts Festival on the theme of "Blood Diamonds". He chose to create a series of performance art installations, using local inhabitants from Grahamstown, leading from the old Station along the railway line to the British Settler graveyard. Subtitled "Terminal" the work was a searing inditement of the effects of colonialism and occupation.
