The top 10 highest-paid female CEOs
This photo shows the ten highest-paid female CEOs in 2014, according to a study carried out by executive compensation data firm Equilar and The Associated Press. Top row, from left: Marissa Mayer, Yahoo; Carol Meyrowitz, TJX Cos.; Meg Whitman, Hewlett-Packard; Indra K. Nooyi, Pepsico; and Phebe Novakovic, General Dynamics. Bottom row, from left: Virginia Rometty, IBM; Marilyn Hewson, Lockheed Martin; Patricia Woertz, Archer Daniels Midland; Irene Rosenfeld, Mondelez International; and Ellen Kull
Much could be learned from the wardrobe strategy of, say, Christine Lagarde, of the International Monetary Fund; or Sheryl Sandberg, of Facebook; or Indra Nooyi, of PepsiCo; or Mary Barra, of General Motors. But though they all dress very well, they barely utter a sartorial word — most probably because of the fear of not being taken seriously. And in doing so, they perpetuate the problem.
PepsiCo’s CEO was right. Now what?
"From the start of her tenure she dared to acknowledge what was obvious to everyone outside the business but unutterable to those inside it...Nooyi may not have been able to control the shift in the marketplace, but she’s gone a long way toward shifting Pepsi’s culture." #PepsiCo #CEO #IndraNooyi #Fortune
