Father's day tie we made- 1) white tie 2) trace each childs opposite hand (or both hands if you only have 1 kid!) on contact paper 3) unpeel, then stick contact handprint where you want 4)paint/blend whatever fabric paint colors you want 5) when dry, unpeel contact paper and paint black heart in center of hands (this called for a sponge heart stamp, which I didn't have, so I made one, but I had to go back and free-hand trace the edge of the heart because, as you can see, they were raggedy)

I bought a 100 piece puzzle. Hand painted them with acrylic paint. Hot glued them to a picture frame. The picture, i took in my yard after i had made a quick sign on cardstock using my cricut to cut out the letters. Gave to grandmas/aunt for mothers day this year. Thought it made an awesome keepsake and nice to display at work:)
