Emotional loss is something I have tried to ignore at times. Loss can be pretty heavy. It's helpful to be a functional human being but sometimes grief knocks you on your ass. Be it an actual death of a loved one, someone leaving your life abruptly, a break up with a partner, or any kind of loss. The grieving process is exactly that; a process.
