In July 1977, during a raging north westerly storm the Antipolis, a derelict tanker being towed to scrap merchants in the Far East,snapped its towing cable and ran aground at Oudekraal.It's sister ship the Romelia ran aground at Llandudno. Today the wrecks are still there(udrerwater)
