The Mother Tongue: English and How it Got that Way|Paperback
The Mother Tongue: English and How It Got That Way - Bill Bryson This is my favorite of Bryson's books. It is also the hardest to find. It is short, funny and full of information. I give it five out of five stars and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoy's a good rip-roaring read.

Fortunate Son
Fortunate Son - Walter Mosley ★★★★☆ // Wonderful story. This was my first book by Walter Mosely. About two brothers, one white, one black, who become separated at about age six and lead very different lives and are reunited in their late teens. Vey moving. I still think about these characters.
