Volcanic Rainbow Eruptions- A great STEM activity for toddlers
Difficulty: Easy MATERIALS: • 👉🏻 Baking soda • 👉🏻 Water • 👉🏻 Food coloring (liquid) • 👉🏻 Mixing bowl • 👉🏻 Containers (We used spice jars from @michaels) • 👉🏻 Dishwashing liquid • 👉🏻 Stirrers (Wooden skewer stick) • 👉🏻 Tray/bin • 👉🏻 Vinegar or lemon juice 👉🏻 Squeeze bottle (Ours are from @amazon) HOW TO: • Add 2 teaspoons of baking soda to a small bowl • 2. Add a few drops of food coloring (The more drops the brighter the color) • 3. Add a bit of water • 4. Mix it all together • 5. Pour the mixture in a container • 6. Add a few squirts of dishwashing liquid • 7. Mix using a stirrer • 8. Pour vinegar over the mixture and see • 9. How the volcanic rainbow erupts •
