Saasveld House in Kloof Street
"Standing beside the Huguenot Monument in Franschhoek is the Huguenot Memorial Museum . The building is actually a reconstruction of Saasveld, the old Cape Town home of Baron Willem Ferdinand van Reede van Oudtshoorn. Saasveld was designed by Louis Michel Thibault, the most important architect in the history of the Cape of Good Hope." www.andrewcusack.com/2009/06/22/huguenot-franschhoek/
Cafe Paradiso - Kloof Street
You had this to say: “Nice atmosphere on vibey Kloof Street, good comfort food” We had a good experience eating here. The food was good, service efficient, and waitress friendly. Very nice ambience, nice outside garden, although it was a bit too cool for us so we opted for inside which was also nice - decorated in a kind of rustic, homey almost Italian country style. We would definitely come back. Absolutely packed so best to reserve. Not a table free when we left early Sat. evening.'
