Homemade Caramel Popcorn
1hr · 1 serving Caramel Popcorn Ingredients: • 10C plain popped popcorn • 2C unsalted butter • 2C brown sugar • 1/2C corn syrup • 1 tsp salt • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1/2 tsp baking soda Steps: • 1. Preheat oven to 250*F • 2. Add popcorn to a large bowl • 4. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan on medium. Stir in the sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring 4 minutes. • 5. Remove from heat, stir in baking soda and vanilla. • 6. Mix caramel with popcorn until well combined. • 7. Add popcorn evenly to baking pans, cook in the oven for 1 hour - stirring every 15 mins. • 8. Cool 100%, break into pieces and store. •
