Mother & Child
9. Tambu's mother finally has her baby in March. Lucia stays with Babamukuru and his family in order to care for her sister. She does not feel welcome at their house. There are not many things she is capable of doing because of she is pregnant. Lucia once again gravitates towards Maiguru. Maiguru, as always, tries to remain in peaceful detachment from Lucia.
