Cape Doctor 1982.
This time of year everybody in C.T. is looking forward to blissful days at the beach BUT, summer also means regular visits by the South Easter as Sally-Ann Barrister finds out during her lunch break on the Foreshore. Photo; The Argus.
Adderley Street, Cape Town
An undated view of lower Adderley Street showing, at left, a tram making its way between the Grand Hotel and the premises of Lennon & Co. At the water's edge at right a sign advertises a skating rink while beyond that, in Table Bay, a number of ships lie at anchor. In the centre of the road a number of horse-drawn carriages are parked while other horse-drawn transports make their way into the city.
