The rectangular silver topped 18K gold ring is centered with an egg-shaped faceted natural unheated sapphire of an excellent even cornflower blue color. The sapphire is surrounded by old European, cushion and rose cut diamonds that are densely set in silver over gold. The renaissance style, floral openwork under gallery and shoulders of the ring are embellished with old rose cut diamonds.
