Tombstone, Arizona. I love Arizona. Tombstone was fascinating!
Route 66 Oatman, Arizona considers itself a "living" ghost town, complete with gift shops, staged gunfights and wild burros wandering through town.
Route 66, the most famous road in the United States, was established in 1926 and passed through eight states on its way from Chicago, IL to Los Angeles, CA (2,448 miles). As a kid I travelled across the US with my Grandma Bessie in her convertible.....awesome "road trip" memories. She inspired my love of travel!
Hidden in the middle of a pine forest near FLAGSTAFF, this Arizona oasis is totally worth the hike.
