Did you know you can freeze celery successfully?  Wash and trim the celery ribs and cut into slices.  Place pieces on a cookie sheet lined with a paper towel. Put into freezer for several hours. When celery is frozen, remove from cookie sheet and put into a zipper freezer bag before returning to the freezer.  When a recipe calls for celery, you have it ready to go in the freezer.

Don't let your celery wilt in the fridge and go to waste! Freeze what you don't use! Simply cut into small pieces place on cookie sheet lined with paper towel. Place in freezer. Once frozen place in individual ziploc bags and label with amount inside!
