Scrape away the flaking paint 2.Sand the surface and edges of the paint 3. Apply @zinsseruk peel stop 4. Generously spread @toupretuk quick dry walls and ceilings really wide over the area 5. Sand again 6. Re seal with @zinsseruk peel stop 7. Once dry paint with @zinsseruk perma white mould resistant paint 8. Kevin tingley on Instagram: "ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE DALAPRO ROLLNOVA.. 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽 • What was the roller you used? - L’outil parfait roller for fillers. • How long does it take to dry? - I haven’t actually timed it but it does take a while, ( like all day ) I tend to use this stuff on areas then walk away till the morning. I think if it dried to quick you’d struggle working it. • Isn’t it quicker to just trowel it on rather than roll? - honestly I thought the same, but! It’s not about the speed imo it’s about the load you’re putting on, the roller spreads it’s so evenly when it comes to leveling out it’s absolutely perfect and flat. Using a hawk and trowel gives you high spots and heavy areas! Mike Jones on Instagram: "Do not do this On plaster board walls as there is a different process. ** would you do this yourself or get a pro to do it?** HOWEVER This is a masonry wall so here is the step by step guide: 1. Rake/ dig out the crack. I used the precision scraper by @hamilton_decorating_tools 2. Remove the dust. The @flex_tools_uk cordless extractor does a great job of this 3. The one and only @zinsseruk peel stop seals the edges and surface 4. THE SECRET! 🤫 fill flex from @toupretuk but make sure you don’t go too heavy here and let it dry fully! 5. Quick dry wall filler from @toupretuk applied with the @woosterbrushuk flexi filling knife out of the @axusdecor flexi bowl 6. Once sanded I used @crownpaintsuk clean extreme Matt paint to finish it off All these ite
