This can is very realistic because of the different tones used. It is very detailed and the shadows are shown very well due the creases of the can. I don't like it that much because it looks to crunched, I think if it was less crunched up then it would look better and more detailed because it would have more of an effect of where the light is shining.

The second sketchbook page depicts drawings of small flax items that the students made using traditional Maori weaving methods. This allowed the integration of a hands-on sculptural task, which gave extra variety to the course.
