Today’s residential areas were mostly farms and small-holdings.. Unfortunately a small area on the right (Sea Point) has been damaged and the ‘repair job’ could have been better, but still gives a good indication of the lay of the land.
Cape Town's first traffic light. The city's first three traffic lights were installed in January one is in Darling street near the Castle. They were promptly named Robots. a uniquely South African term which has remained through the years.
