TURKISH VERONICA (Veronica liwanensis): One of the most beautiful of all ground cover plants. Spreading sheets of tiny, rounded, dark green leaves 1-3 inches tall are smothered for 1 to 3 months in spring with clusters of tiny, true blue, lipped blossoms. Foliage turns burgundy-green in fall. Drought tolerant once established. Likes well-drained soils in full to part sun. Beautiful planted between paving stones. Photo courtesy of Sooner Plant Farm.
Aloe polyphylla 'Spiral Aloe' We installed these several years ago and then the house was sold to a family with small children... several popped play-balls and they contacted us for help. We took them them out and put in a kid's veggie garden. In the meantime they had grown so big it took a crew of four to get them out safely.
