Virginia Woolf was right - a woman needs a room of her own if she wants to write fiction. It also helps to have a desk, plenty of coffee, a funky chair, and a view. Oh, and cash.

The writer covered every wall in an abandoned cottage in Chongqing, China with the words of their novel:Including illustrations, too, the story is not just a strange appearance on the old walls, but a beautiful one. We’ve seen similar use of walls before, as William Faulkner wrote an outline for one of his novels on the walls of his office.
