GROUP ACTIVITY FOR SENIORS - Using a Chalk board, draw two vertical lines to make three columns. Above each column write the three topics. Draw four horizontal lines making four columns below your three topics. Spell out the word "Fall" by placing each of the letters in the first column. Use the graph as your guide and give the seniors hints to find the right answers. Ask residents to name an animal, food or flower starting with each of the letters in the word "Fall".
Finish Line Sayings: it's awesome to see what sayings your residents remember! I get a group of my residents together and read these sayings and they fill in the blanks. They did it so well I ran out of sayings! You can repeat them a few times and you'll actually see some of your residents improve!
