BUTTERMILK BRAN RUSKS 300 g Margarine 1c Oil 2c Brown Sugar 2 Eggs 2c Buttermilk  1c Wholewheat Flour 3c Cereal Bran Flakes 7c Flour 8t BP 1t Salt Melt butter, oil sugar in saucepan. cool. Beat till thick. Beat in eggs, then beat in buttermilk. Add dry ing, stir till blended. Pour into large roasting tin lined with oiled greaseproof paper. 180°C for 1 hr. cool. Cut. dry reduce oven to 100°C leave for 4–6 hours to dry

Malva Pudding cupcakes

Delectably delicious malva pudding in the form of beautifully crafted cupcakes.

MAALVLEIS KOLWYNTJIES 500g maalvleis, 1ui (fyn gekap), 2 tamaties (fyn gesny), 5ml sout, 12,5ml blatjang, 12,5ml tamatie sous. Braai maalvleis in bietjie botter tot bruin. Voeg ui by en braai verder. Voeg res van bestanddele by. 250ml melk, 125ml olie, 2 eiers, 250ml bruismeel, 5ml aromat, 2ml sout  Meng tot glade deeg. Smeer kolwyntjie pannetjies. Skep 5ml deeg in pan dan 5ml maalvleis en druk effens in met lepel. Bak vir 15 minute in oond van 220grade.
