Dive sites (Southern Mozambique): Doodles

Doodles is the so-called house Reef of Ponta do Ouro. It's a short boat ride from the corner of the beach where the dive boats launch, and we did three dives there on three different days.

Tony, Kate, Carl, Anita, and I found this little fellow on a recent dive on the SS Clan Stuart, in about 6.5 metres of water. He reminded me of nothing so much as a crumpet (I hadn't had breakfast) and obligingly lay on the sand for a little while so that we could examine him.

Hi everyone Christmas is around the corner, summer has arrived (somewhere), many people are on vacation and many of them are diving. We have been real busy for the last few weeks and had some really good diving days mixed in with some really low visibility diving.

Dive sites (Southern Mozambique): Texas

Texas is named because of its size (it's big), and dives there may incur a small surcharge because the boat ride is longish. It's in the next bay on from Ponta do Ouro, called Malongane bay, which where the small town of Ponta Malongane can be found (unsurprisingly).
