There are lots of kindle-cover tutorials floating around, but what I really like about Deborah's (from Whipstitch) is that in addition to the four fabric corners used for viewing, there is also a secret full pocket to keep it more secure during travel. Also, I just love everything Deborah does ("Hi Deb!").
