Fernwood, Newlands, Cape Town
Amongst the many suburban residences that of Fernwood is one of the most celebrated. It is the property of Mr. C. D. Rudd, the partner of Mr. Rhodes, and, like the latter gentleman has done with Groote Schuur, its owner has spent a considerable mount of money in improving what was of the old Colonial homesteads. A grand view of Table Mountain can be obtained from this locatity.
