a Sixties view of this well loved beacon in Cape Town that lost its battle against progress in the early eighties.Just about everybody in C.T. loved this place,and many a nostalgic tale can be told. Mom also in Cape Town.... ..... and what the Shit is happening to that Ship..... !? On July the 1st. 1966 ,during a fierce winter storm the S. A. Seafarer ran aground off Mouille Point ,Cape Town. Everybody on board were rescued by helicopters of 17 squadron from Ysterplaat.
