Biltong Pate 200g mushrooms thinly chopped 1 small onion chopped 50g butter 100g fine biltong 250g cream cheese 250g whipping cream, lightly whipped / OR, 200ml good quality mayonnaise Method Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the mushrooms & onions and sauté until soft. Set aside & allow to cool. Blend well: the onion mixture, fine biltong, cream cheese & whipping cream and/ or mayonnaise. Serve with Melba Toast, Savoury Biscuits or Chips.
