In today’s GOOD NEWS: I salvaged a vintage globe and turned it into a lampshade! The globe’s owner – my aunt – tried for years to repair the decades-old globe (which had split apart and would no longer stand upright on its bent, rusted metal base).

Clever, clever, clever.

I really like this idea for an office or a library. Convert an old globe into a pendant light! Seems easy enough. Buy a lamp kit at your local hardware store, take apart a globe and drill a larger hole for the light. Put remainder of light together.

1.Pull at the cotton batting until it looks fluffy, light, and cloud-like. 2.Then, hot glue it to the outside of the paper lantern in various places. { Make sure it's fluffed to your liking, } 3. Light the flameless candles and stick them inside. or put in Christmas lights. 4. Hang the lantern wherever you'd like.

Cloud lights ♥ one of the most awesome ideas ever. Use: cotton batting, a paper lantern, & 3 flameless candles. Pull at cotton batting til it looks fluffy & cloud-like; & hot glue it all around the lantern. Add lights to lantern. Clouds are ready to hang!
