Easy Salmon Cakes1/4 cup finely chopped red pepper 1/4 cup finely chopped green onion 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt Cayenne (red) pepper to taste 1 beaten egg 1 pouch (7.1 ounces) Chicken of the Sea Skinless & Boneless Pink Salmon (i use canned) 1 cup dry breadcrumbs, divided 3 tablespoons butter
~ Original Old Bay Crab Cakes ~The recipe as shown is very good, however you can tweak it just a bit. Change as follows - Use 3 to 4 slices of bread instead of the 2, increase the one egg to two (it didn't bind as well as it should), maybe add a few tablespoons of finely chopped green onion and some pepper. Also increase the Old Bay Seasoning to taste.
