Have one drawer for each student, when they finish their work they can go to their work box and pull out things to work. (lets the teacher assign different things for the student/if they need extra practice in an area) - DIFFERENTIATION!
This could be adapted to suit my class! (via Team V’s First Grade Fun: “I’m Done” Cups) Students pick a stick from the “I’m Done” cup and work on an activity when they are finished with their work. Teachers can range the activities depending on the grade.
Help Wanted bulletin board. Pockets with classroom job descriptions. Write student names on craft sticks and place them in appropriate pocket. Fun and easy way to switch up student jobs throughout the year.
