FOIL method Poster for multiplying binomials.I am a big fan of the FOIL method for multiplying binomials. Although I know some educators use the box method, my students find the FOIL method easier and much faster with a little practice. I have color coded the First, Outers, Inners and Last term arrows for a great visual aid and used black swoops to show where to combine like terms.The poster is in an 8.5 x 11 inch format.I have included 3 versions with slight variations of vocabulary.

This is a good idea for behavior management in the classroom. In Beautiful Child, Torey dealt with a lot of problem behavior. This could be made in to a sign that would be hung in the "cool down spot" in a corner of the room. Although it may not work with every student, it could be helpful to at least one.
