Fun Science Experiment using dry ice. STEM learning
Try this fun experiment with you kids they will enjoy a lot with bubbles. SCIENCE: 🧪Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide. When you add it to soap water, it doesn’t melt like regular ice; instead, it sublimates directly from a solid to a gas, releasing carbon dioxide. 🧪This carbon dioxide gas produced expands. expanding gas forms bubbles in the soap water. Soap molecules surround the gas, stabilizing the bubbles. Soap also lowers the surface tension of water, making it easier for bubbles to form. 🧪Carbon dioxide gas is denser than air, causing the bubbles to be heavier than their surroundings. This buoyancy makes the bubbles rise. And this continues as long as there’s is dry ice. Follow me on Instagram for more fun learning activities
