Umqombothi is an uniquely South African type of beer. It is made with corn, sorghum, yeast, and water. It isnt anything like your typical beer you might get at the bar; it has a very thick consistency, a low alcohol content, and a very strange appearance. Umqombothi is traditionally served from a communal drum called a gogogo, where one serves themselves.
