Ramadan Reinspired: Day Twenty Do you feel like you’ve let yourself down because you didn’t make the most out of the first 20 days of Ramadan? There is no point pondering on the time lost but we can surely do better in the few days that we have left. Let’s speed up our game and make the most out of the last few days. Don’t miss out on the treasures of Laylatul Qadr or the Night of decree as the great scholar of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah [R] said: “What really counts are good endings, not flawed
O Allah, on this day, grant me wisdom and awareness, keep me away from foolishness and pretention, grant me a share in every blessing You send down, by You generosity, O the most Generous.
The time during the month of Ramadan is blessed and precious. It is a golden opportunity to seek closeness to Allah. Before we know it, this month of mercy and forgiveness will be over. We should try and spend every moment possible in the worship of Allah so that we can make the most of this blessing. Avoid getting into unwanted conversations instead use the time to recite a lot of Quran and avoid oversleeping so that you get enough time to pray the nafil prayers.
