Inverdoorn Game Reserve
The Little Karoo cuts a dry and dusty swathe across South Africa's interior. At first glance it seems a desolate wasteland, but the region teems with life of every description. Inverdoorn Game Reserve has made a significant contribution to the biodiversity of the region. Boasting 1 200 wild animals, including the Big, this sprawling 10 000 hectare reserve is home to a rhino orphanage and one of the most successful cheetah rehabilitation centres in the world.
