White Nights by Fyodor Dostoyevsky A love story, more accurately, a story about love, both platonic and romantic. I’ve never seen platonic love described with such longing and angst before. Well, I suppose the angst comes from the romantic storyline of the book, but it applies. The Dostoyevsky is Dostoyevsky-ing.
