I got this shot thanks to my brother Steve. It was taken up at his cabin near Talkeetna. Steve, had spent a fair amount of time letting the ermine get used to him. They are pretty fearless little animals. He asked me if I was interested in getting some ermine shots. Of course, I said, Yes! This is one of quite few shots that I got. Ermine's are Short-tailed Weasels. They turn pure white in the winter, except for a black tip on their tail. They are extremely active and very quick. THANK YOU…
