Here are two of my BARBIE paper dolls. I still have almost all of their clothing and accessories. I really do like 1970's fashions. The Barbie from 1970 goes with the Ken paper doll that I have already posted.

Dolly Dingle is a contemporary of Rose O’Neill’s Kewpies, and was born in 1913. She resembles the Kewpies, and has the same fat, rosy cheeks and wide, almost googly side-glancing eyes, but where most of the Kewpies are cherubs or babies, Dolly is a little girl. Like O’Neill, however, Drayton enjoyed a lot of commercial success.

This is Brenda's country cousin with her dog "Tornado". This is a cut set from the comic paper but someone had a copy of the complete strip and found all the pieces so it is a complete set even if cut. This was a large size sheet so had to scan it in two sections. …

Here's a little project I finished. This is a Robert Best Barbie paper doll. I used Robert Best's lovely Barbie designs and sketches to create a wardrobe for his basic Barbie doll. The art is by Robert Best and I do not claim it as my own. I only transformed the art into a new paper doll. Mattel owns the rights to Barbie.
