Vashon, WA is home to a stunning little island. On the island there is much to see and do that will fill your weekend travels. But where do you stay?

Spent a lot of time on the ferry going between Vashon Island and Tacoma, WA in the early 70s. First swim in the bay (on a dare), first time sailing, first outdoor rock festival, first indoor concert (Jethro Tull, with Yes opening), etc., etc. This photo was taken recently by a friend on her way back to the mainland.
