I'm taking a note from Sarah at Amongst Lovely Things and I think you should too--Start Where You Are--then you'll never be behind.

We all have to start somewhere. I started food photography whilst travelling around Southern Australia in a camper van. The first shot I ever took was of a pre-packaged croissant and a small carton of lifelong milk, on a plastic plate. Oh, good times. Who'd be interested in seeing that image?
