Saint Patrick. He was born around 380 AD of a wealthy Roman family living in Britain. He was kidnapped at 15 and taken to Ireland and sold as a slave to work on a farm. After a few years he escaped, walking away and by boat, and after living in a monastery for a few years in Italy, returned to his parents who were overjoyed to see him -- they thought he was dead or at least gone forever.
